Well we are finally beginning to get settled in our new house and trying to get into a new routine. Still lots of work to do but we are getting there. It is feeling more and more like home everyday. When we finally get the painting and everything finished I'll post some pics.
Evan is continuing to grow and change everyday. He stayed the night at his Grandmama and Granddaddy's last weekend and I swear when I picked him up he looked different. He is saying more things now like mama(finally),dada, baba, and nana. I'm not sure what those last two mean but its so darn cute. He's crawling all over the place and pulling up on everything. I think I'm ready for him to walk but I'll get back to you on that one. He loves to play with his football and can do the touchdown sign! So Cute!!!! We hope to take him to a game real soon if the weather permits.

Here are some recent pics from the last few weeks.

9 Months Old!

Well today, Evan is 9 months old! Wow how time flies! After holding Alex yesterday, it was so hard to remember Evan being that small. Our friends, Ron and Michelle welcomed their sweet baby boy into the world on Sept 1. He is just so precious. Jennifer, Landen, Evan and I went to meet him yesterday. Jennifer made the babies Team Alex shirts and they looked so cute. Thanks Aunt Jennifer!

Evan is now crawling and into everything! He looks so cute when he's crawling though! I'll post some video of him crawling next time I post. He's also pulling up on everything, so its only a matter of time before he starts walking. Boy are we going to be in trouble when that happens. Here are some pics from the past few weeks and Alex!

Our beach vacations!

We have enjoyed 2 of the last 3 weeks at the beach. It was Evan's 1st trip and he loves the beach. His favorite part (of course) was eating the sand! He just couldn't get enough of it. We really enjoyed spending some relaxing time with family especially after all we have had going on the past few months. Our last trip was plagued by the stomach bug but we still had fun spending time together, even if we were all sick. Evan enjoyed lots of 1st including his 1st time being sick. He had a stomach virus, ear infection and on top of all that, he has about 5 teeth coming in at once. So needless to say, he has not been a happy camper this past week. But he is finally getting back to his happy self. Here are some pics from all the beach trips. Enjoy!

Well, we have learned that Evan is quite the party animal. We took him on Saturday night to a party at some friends house and he had a blast! He's really gotten into saying hey and waving and he told everyone hey at the party. They had a DJ and he enjoyed all the music. He made it until 9pm and then he was gone! He's having trouble again sleeping through the night and we can't really figure it out. He has slept through the night since he was 2 months old so we are spoiled. I think it's a combination of teething and knowing we are in the room. Hopefully, all that will get better, once we get into our house. Speaking of our new house, it looks like we will finally be moving in this weekend. Here are some new pics of him trying to crawl and our new house! It won't be long before he's moving all over the place.

4th of July

Evan got to experience his 1st 4th of July this past weekend. He really enjoyed all the swimming, food (especially the homemade ice cream), and hanging out with all of the family. We spent the day hanging out by the pool and eating then ended the evening with some fireworks. Evan got to spend the day with his girlfriend, Landen and they have so much fun together. They both looked so cute in their 4th of July outfits. Evan was a little scared of the fireworks his daddy got, probably because they screamed and made an awful noise! On top of that, he was trying to go to sleep and that kept scaring him and waking him up. He liked the sparklers and the roman candles but was not so sure of the screaming ones.

We think he is teething again and therefore is having some fussy nights. We've gotten so use to him sleeping all night so this is hard for everyone! Hopefully, they'll come through soon and we can get back to sleeping through the night.

Here are some pics from the past few weeks! Enjoy!

Our Little Sunshine!

Evan went for his 6 month check up last week and boy has he grown. He weighed 19 pounds 13.5 ounces and was 26 1/2 inches. Everyone thought he would be at least 20 pounds but not quite yet. Believe me he is not missing any meals. After his appointment, I took him to the Horseshoe and showed him where Mommy and Daddy got married. And of course I never miss a picture opportunity so we took some fun pictures. He loved the grass and all the dogs running around. Maybe one day he'll be a Gamecock!

We're in our last week of swimming lessons and he has really enjoyed it. Not only does he get to spend time with Landen but he loves watching all the other children. He has really gotten use to the pool and he enjoys every minute of it. We'll be sad that its over but we'll continue to swim at Grandmama and Grandaddy's pool this summer.

Jimmy enjoyed his 1st Father's Day watching golf and spending time with the family. Evan wore his son of a superdad shirt and he looked so cute. I'll post pics of that later. I haven't had time to upload them yet but I will real soon. Here are some pics to tie you all over until then.
