23 weeks and still going strong!

So according to the experts, baby Evan is now 8 inches and slightly over a pound. So he's the size of a small doll or an ear of corn! Over the next couple of weeks, he should double in size. We can feel him kicking very regularly now especially when its time to go to bed at night. He's very active so thats what we have to look forward to! Summer Vacation with the family

I just got back from a trip with my family to the beach and boy was it hot! Hot weather is so different when you're pregnant. I spent most of my time sitting in my chair in the ocean and just chillin! It was so nice and relaxing. I wish Jimmy could have been there as well. He needs a break, he's been working so hard lately. I think he and I will get away a little later this summer. Here are some pics from the trip! Enjoy!

This is all so new to me!

My good friend Nicole suggested that we start a blog to keep everyone up to date on our pregnancy and whats going on in our lives. So here goes! For everyone that doesn't already know, Jimmy and I found out on June 5th that we were pregnant. Little did we know just how far along I was. We went to the doctor on June 18th and discovered that I was 17 weeks and we are having a boy! I guess you can say so far I've had the perfect pregnancy especially since I had no idea I was pregnant. All of this was so overwhelming and exciting at the same time. Somehow we survived all this excitement and can't wait for our little bundle of joy. God definitely had other plans for us! So that should bring everyone up to speed on our lives and we'll keep posting as we learn more.
